SplitSwim (“SplitSwim,” “Split,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a swimming tools app developed and operated by Amogh Sharma and Yuchen Wang. SplitSwim provides split calculators, course conversion, time standards, and related tools.

The current version of SplitSwim does not collect personal information from users. Calculators and other tools run on your device. We do not require an account, and we do not receive, store, or transmit the times, names, or other swim data you enter in the app.

1. What we collect

We currently do not collect personal information through the SplitSwim app.

We do not collect:

• Email addresses, passwords, or other account credentials. Account creation is not available in the current version.
• Personal bests, goal times, display names, or other information you enter in the app.
• Location, contacts, photos, payment information, or advertising identifiers used for tracking.
• Analytics, crash reports, or diagnostic data from your device.

Times and settings you enter stay on your device unless you choose to share them yourself (for example by taking a screenshot).

If you email us for support, we receive only what you include in that message, and we use it solely to respond.

2. Public swimming data

SplitSwim may display publicly available competitive-swimming data from third-party public sources. That public data is not collected from you.

3. How we use information

Because the app does not collect personal information, we do not use, sell, share, or profile user data from the app. We do not use personal information for marketing, remarketing, or advertising.

If you contact splitswimapp@gmail.com, we use that message only to provide support.

4. Third-party services

The current app does not send your personal information to our servers or to analytics providers.

This website is hosted by Vercel. Visiting these pages may result in standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and request time) processed by the host for security and reliability. That applies to this website, not to the SplitSwim app.

5. Children’s privacy

Because we do not collect personal information through the app, we do not collect personal information from children. If a parent believes a child sent us personal information by email, contact splitswimapp@gmail.com and we will delete it.

6. Data retention

We do not retain app user data because we do not collect it. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to respond, then deleted.

7. Location of processing

We do not process app user data on our servers. Support emails are processed in the United States.

8. Security

Because the current app does not transmit personal information to us, there is no app-user data of yours stored on our servers. This website is served over HTTPS.

9. Your rights

You may email splitswimapp@gmail.com to ask questions or request deletion of any information you sent us by email. The current app does not create accounts, so there is no account data on our servers to access or delete. Information stored only on your device is under your control and is removed if you delete the app.

We do not sell personal information. California, EU, and UK privacy rights still apply to any information you send us by email.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy if our practices change. We will update the “Last updated” date and provide notice of material changes as required by law. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
